Goal יָעָד

My goal is to provide you with the tools to independently continue your study of the Hebrew language long beyond the time that we are going to spend together.

Vision חָזוֹן

Your knowledge of Hebrew will open up whole new levels of depth and understanding and blessing in your reading of scripture.

Thank you for going on this journey with me.

Some interesting historical facts to consider as we set off

  1. All the authors of the New Testament were Hebrew, Jewish Israelis. (There are questions about Mark; however, many believe that he was in fact Jewish)

  2. The meanings of the names and places in the New Testament cannot be understood without a knowledge of Hebrew. Here are some examples:

  • Jesus/Yeshua means salvation.

  • Bethlehem/Beit Lekhem means the house of bread.

  • Capernaum/Kfar Nakhum means the village of comfort.

The Greek and all subsequent translations do not convey these meanings. (More on this in our workbook)
