Let’s be encouraged to seek the Lord Yeshua.
Let’s understand that he alone is the living word. Yeshua is the word of God. And the Word became flesh and lived amongst us. (John 1: 1-4)
Let’s be encouraged that the Holy Spirit dwells inside of us. He is the comforter. He is our teacher and he teaches us and opens our eyes to understand the Scriptures. (John 14:16)
We need to believe that we have the ability to understand the Scriptures and not to depend on anyone for interpretation. We have the mind of Christ because he dwells inside of us. (1 Corinthians 2:16)
We should confirm our revelation with the Scriptures. When the Lord reveals something to us from a certain verse or from a certain passage then we need to be confident that our understanding is in agreement with the rest of scripture. There’s uniformity in the Scriptures, uniformity in the personality of God and uniformity in the revelation of His plan of salvation.
When we have a revelation concerning a certain passage then we can check it with the rest of scripture not just by cross-referencing but by continuing to spend time seeking the Lord and asking Him to open the eyes of our understanding in our walk with Him and as we read the scriptures.
Let’s rejoice in the Lord at all times and pray without ceasing.
