I see anti-Israel, pro Palestinian protests, calls for a cease fire and condemnation of Israel.
It’s very frustrating.
What are we to do?
Should we leave Hamas intact so that they can attack us again?
What about the 150 thousand refugees who have left their homes?
How can they go back if Hamas is left intact?
We don’t want war.
We just want to live our lives in peace.
Is this so difficult to understand?
I will quote Golda Meir once again,
“If the Arabs lay down their weapons there will be no war.
If the Jews put down their weapons there will be no Israel."
Please think about this.
If Hamas put down their weapons, there will be peace.
This is not a fantasy.
There is actually a historical precedent for this.
Egypt made peace with Israel in 1979.
Anwar Sadat paid with his life.
He was assassinated by Islamic extremists.
Jordan made peace with Israel in 1994.
If the Arabs lay down their weapons there will be peace.
Hamas is the ruling elected government of Gaza.
Why does Israel have to provide the Hamas ruled Gaza Strip with electricity and water?
Why haven’t Hamas used the billions of dollars they receive in aid from the international community to build infrastructure and systems to serve and provide for their people?
Instead, Hamas has been using materials and billions of dollars in international aid to build tunnels, weapons factories, training camps and a terrorist infrastructure so as to accomplish its declared goal which is the destruction of Israel.
The Palestinian educational system teaches hatred of Jews and hatred of Israel and it indoctrinates Palestinian children to believe that the highest honour is the killing of Jews and the destruction of Israel.
On October 8, a day after the attack, Ali Baraja, a senior Hamas official said,
"The Israelis are known to love life.
We, on the other hand, sacrifice ourselves. We
consider our dead to be MARTYRS."

Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005.
In 2006 Hamas won the Palestinian elections.
In 2007 Hamas took over the governance of the Gaza Strip and its population of 2 million people.
Hamas has been attacking Israel since.
Arab attacks against Jews started more than a hundred years ago.
